2020 Arizona Sunburn Film Festival Official Selection
We are ecstatic to announce that our documentary "Out of Formation, Creative Drill Sergeants" was made an official selection for the Arizona Sunburn Film Festival 2020. What started out as a passion project turned into a mini-documentary. Our passionate director Stjepan Alaupovic has produced a heart wrenching documentary that wrapped production in December 2019. In 2019 the VA released a report showing that at least 60,000 veterans died by suicide between 2008 and 2017.
This documentary details just how neglected our veterans are and showing their great resilience in refusing the unnecessary devastation of veterans today. An average of 17 military veterans die by suicide each day. The project was made in collaboration with the Expressive Arts Academy, who's mission is to prevent homelessness and suicides among our military veterans.
