Meals That Matter Officially Released

Meals That Matter is a 22-minute documentary created in partnership with The Joy Bus, a Phoenix-based nonprofit that delivers free, healthy meals to homebound cancer patients.

After years of collaboration, conversation, and careful storytelling, we’re proud to officially release Meals That Matter, our documentary created in partnership with The Joy Bus.

The film explores the quiet role that nourishment, dignity, and human connection can play in helping individuals navigate cancer. Rather than focusing on illness itself, Meals That Matter centers on the lived experiences of the people who welcomed us into their homes and trusted us with their stories.

This project was never meant to be just another nonprofit video. From the beginning, the goal was to create a long-term storytelling asset that could help deepen community trust, strengthen donor connections, and extend The Joy Bus's mission beyond a single campaign.

We’re grateful to all who made this film possible, clients, supporters, volunteers, healthcare professionals, and families who saw the value in these stories.

The documentary was also honored as an Official Selection of the Phoenix Film Festival.
